Clinical Staff Pharmacist - Plano, TX

This position offers the opportunity to provide clinical pharmacy expertise while supporting pharmacy operations in a dynamic healthcare setting. The role requires effective management of patient care with some involvement in production tasks to ensure comprehensive pharmacy services.


Location: Plano, TX

Job Type: Contract to Hire

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Regular hours: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
• On-call rotation hours: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM (every 7th weekend and about 3 times a month during the week)

Responsibilities:

• Clinical management of patients including review and monitoring of medication therapies
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Participate in production activities on a rotational basis
• Support infusion services in line with clinical standards
• Serve on the on-call rotation as scheduled

Qualifications:

• Active Texas Pharmacist License (required)
• IV Certification (required)
• Experience with infusion pharmacy practice
• Willingness and ability to obtain Oklahoma Pharmacist License within six months of hire
• Proven clinical pharmacy skills with the ability to manage diverse patient populations
