Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate nursing care for a designated group of patients during a shift, using the nursing process aligned with the medical plan of care and input from patients and significant others.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health care team members to deliver patient care, across age groups as assigned to the unit.
• Integrate teaching and discharge planning needs into the overall plan of care.
• Delegate appropriate aspects of patient care to other nursing staff based on current clinical competence and scope of practice.
• This assignment is represented by CNA.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license (state-specific licensure requirements will apply to the assignment)
• Oncology nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts
• Willingness to participate in a travel assignment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
