Inpatient oncology care within a high-volume healthcare setting. The RN will assume responsibility for a group of patients for each designated shift, delivering care aligned with the medical plan of care and informed by patient and family input.

Responsibilities
- Act as the primary RN for a defined patient group during the shift, delivering direct nursing care.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care using the nursing process in line with the medical plan of care.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate delivery of patient care across age groups as required by the assigned unit.
- Provide patient and family teaching, discharge planning, and ensure appropriate documentation.
- Delegate tasks to other licensed and unlicensed staff based on clinical competence and scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate records, monitor patient safety, and ensure adherence to regulatory and professional standards.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- BLS certification required (American Heart Association or equivalent)
- Ability to work days with 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week)
- Willingness to care for patients across age ranges per unit needs (oncology focus)
- Prior inpatient RN experience; oncology or med-surgical background preferred
- Ability to complete credentialing and onboarding requirements
