A well-established global mining company is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join its team in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Payable professional or someone with strong data entry and administrative experience to join a professional, collaborative organization.

The Accounts Payable Specialist will provide day-to-day support to the AP team, assisting with invoice processing, data entry, document management, and general accounts payable activities. What You'll Do

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will help keep daily AP operations running smoothly by supporting invoice processing, data entry, document organization, and administrative activities.

Responsibilities include:

• Review and verify supplier invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation

• Process and enter invoices into the appropriate systems according to established procedures

• Perform accurate Accounts Payable data entry

• Scan, organize, and maintain incoming mail, invoices, and AP documentation

• Assist with invoice-related questions and general AP support

• Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records

• Help ensure invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner

• Research and resolve basic invoice or documentation discrepancies

• Follow established accounting and accounts payable procedures

• Support the AP team with additional administrative and accounting tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have previous Accounts Payable, accounting, data entry, or administrative support experience and enjoy working in a structured, deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous Accounts Payable, accounting, data entry, or administrative experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to handle high-volume, repetitive tasks while maintaining quality

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills

• Strong ability to follow established processes and procedures

• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• SAP experience is a plus, but not required
