Lead Our Team as Bakery General Manager at Alta Bakery and Cafe!

Alta Bakery and Cafe, located in beautiful Monterey, CA, is looking for a passionate and experienced Bakery General Manager to oversee our operations. If you have a love for exceptional baked goods, a knack for leadership, and at least two years of experience in a management role, we’d love to hear from you!
What You'll Be DoingAs our Bakery General Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our bakery and cafe. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing all aspects of bakery and cafe operations, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Leading and inspiring a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Maintaining product quality and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
- Managing budgets, monitoring costs, and driving profitability.
- Collaborating with the team to develop new ideas and improve processes.
- Fostering a positive work environment that aligns with Alta Bakery and Cafe’s values.
To thrive in this role, you should bring:
- At least 2 years of experience in a management or leadership role, preferably in the food service or hospitality industry.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage a 50-hour work week.
- A passion for high-quality food and customer service.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- A proactive, hands-on approach to leadership.
