Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials, and support daily operations through visible presence, routine patrols, and strong communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, vendors, and employees by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, issuing passes, and documenting arrivals and departures at the location. Monitor entry and exit points for the facility, help to deter unauthorized access, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities and coordinating with appropriate personnel when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, gate areas, loading and shipping zones, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location. Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, truck and trailer check-in information, and other required reports related to access control and daily security-related operations. Minimum Requirements Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
