Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 15 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Must possess a valid RN license (GA or Compact) Certifications: - BLS - ACLS - NIHSS preferred Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of experience in telemetry nursing - Experience managing cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration) - Skills in telemetry monitoring and cardiac dysrhythmias Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in telemetry. The applicant should have experience in caring for adult to geriatric patients. The patient population will include those with diagnoses such as CHF, MI, chest pain, dysrhythmias, and vascular issues. The nurse will be expected to monitor telemetry and provide appropriate interventions. Charting will be completed using the Epic system. Effective communication with the healthcare team is essential. The nurse must provide care in accordance with established protocols and standards. Candidates should be prepared to float within the facility as needed. Weekend shifts will be required, typically every other weekend. There are no call requirements, but the nursing staff is expected to work major holidays. Full compliance with onboarding and clinical screening is required to start on time. Travelers will be reviewed clinically to determine fit for the role.
