Mountain Air Mechanical Contractors is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. As an HVAC Service Technician, you'll diagnose, repair, maintain, and service residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems while providing customers with honest recommendations and an outstanding service experience.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and system tune-ups.
• Explain repair options and recommended solutions to customers in a professional, customer-focused manner.
• Complete service calls safely, efficiently, and accurately.
• Install replacement parts and components as needed.
• Document work performed using mobile technology.
• Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and company equipment.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required.
• Build lasting customer relationships through exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HVAC service experience preferred.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Knowledge of residential HVAC systems, heat pumps, gas furnaces, and air conditioning equipment.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and equipment schematics.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background screening and drug screening (where permitted by law).

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and confined spaces.
• Climb ladders and work at varying heights.
• Stand, kneel, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Work in varying weather conditions.
