This role offers an opportunity to support operators in a modern production facility. You will assist with the safe and efficient operation of machinery, ensure materials meet quality specifications, and occasionally use a sit-down forklift to stage materials. Responsibilities

• Assist operators in the production of materials in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Operate production machinery and equipment safely, efficiently, and in line with operational guidelines.
• Monitor production processes to ensure materials consistently meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Perform regular quality checks on materials and products and accurately document all inspection results.
• Use a sit-down forklift to stage and move materials as needed, approximately 10% of the time.
• Support production line activities, including machine operation, general production tasks, and assembly line work.
• Participate in compounding and other manufacturing processes as directed by operators or supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area to support safety and efficiency.
• Follow all safety protocols, SOPs, and company procedures, including proper use of equipment and personal safety practices.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and supervisors regarding production status, issues, and needs.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or process discrepancies promptly to operators or management.
• Adhere to rotating 12-hour shift schedules and demonstrate reliable attendance to support consistent production operations.

Work Environment

The role is based in a modern manufacturing facility that is temperature-controlled and very clean, providing a comfortable and orderly setting for production work. You will work around production lines, machinery, and compounding equipment, and will use a sit-down forklift to stage materials approximately 10% of the time. The position follows rotating 12-hour shifts, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks throughout the shift. The environment emphasizes strict adherence to SOPs, safety protocols, and housekeeping standards to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-organized workplace.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Castle, DE.

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
