Job Summary
The Host/Greeter is responsible for providing prompt, friendly, courteous, and efficient service to all restaurant guests while creating a memorable experience by greeting, escorting/directing guests, providing accurate information, and responding to inquiries, requests, and concerns.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Greet arriving guests and determine reservation or place guests on waiting list, when applicable.
- Escort guests to their assigned table or direct them to designated waiting areas.
- Present guests with menus, communicate server name, relay any relevant information, and remove any additional place settings.
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and respond to inquiries and requests.
- Engage with guests to ensure they are satisfied with food and overall service.
- Must be able to cross-train in other F&B related areas.

- Displays outstanding attendance.
Essential Skills, Experience, and Education include:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or a minimum of 1 year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Luxury hotel/fine dining experience preferred.
- High volume, fast-paced work environment experience preferred.
- Aloha experience is a plus.
- Open Table experience is a plus.
- Food Handlers card is required.
- Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) Certification is a plus.
- Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification is a plus.
- Proficient in English- verbal and written.
- Must have flexible work availability- all shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements include:
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
