Project Engineer II - Building Construction

Project EngineerRaineri Construction is seeking a qualified and professional candidate with adequate education and/or experience for the position of Project Engineer. The PE assists the Project Manager in the administration of most aspects of the bidding, pre-construction, and construction phases of all construction projects. With proven performance, this position can lead to a Project Manager role, if desired. $74K to $87K, based on experience.Not a remote position. Based in St. Louis, the company has grown each year since its inception in 2003 and currently employs more than 100 employees.Long-term, mutually beneficial employment relationships are important to the company, and its benefits package currently includes:100% of the employee's health insurance premium is paid by the companyCompany-funded Employee Assistance ProgramCompany-funded Group Life InsurancePaid vacation and holidays401(K) Retirement Plan, with a company match of 4%Company Profit SharingKey Responsibilities:PreconstructionAssist in creating project schedulesCoordinate the receipt, review, and distribution of all project submittals and required shop drawingsCreate and distribute sub-contracts and other project documentationCreate material orders (purchase orders)Coordinate all product deliveries required to achieve the project schedulePhoto document job siteCreate traffic control plansConstructionAssist in the management of Production TrackingCoordinate all product deliveries required to achieve the project scheduleCoordinate the receipt and distribution of all records, close out, and warranty documentation for the projectAssist the Superintendent and Project Manager in quality control and safety of the project during field inspectionsAssist the Project Manager and Superintendent with updating and administering the project schedule, including the utilization of scheduling softwareCoordinate the receipt and distribution of all records, close out, and warranty documentation for the projectProvide support to the project team to enhance the established project goalsAssist PM with Procore maintenance.Required Experience:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or other business related Bachelor's degree ORTwo years experience in Business Administration with construction based knowledgeRequired Skills:Intermediate or above proficiency in MS Office applications, most specifically Excel and OutlookProcore experience preferredExperience reading site plans, submittals, and taking construction measurementsStrong written and oral communication skillsSelf-motivated, deadline driven and highly organizedFlexible and adaptable to changing situationsEffective listener with the ability to understand the needs of team members at all levelsCompleted, or will complete within one year, the OSHA 30 Hour Construction Safety CoursePhysical Requirements:Able to work in all weather conditions.Able to traverse uneven walking/working surfaces at jobsites.Able to climb stairs at jobsites.Able to wear all required personal protective equipment as necessary.Able to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.Raineri Construction is an equal opportunity employer (Minority/Female/Disabled/Veteran).
