Location: Columbia, SC (Travel as Needed)
Compensation: Competitive Base Salary + Bonus + Full Benefits

Position Summary

The Superintendent will oversee all on-site construction activities from project startup through closeout, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Ideal candidates will have experience leading ground-up commercial projects ranging from $20M–$80M.

Experience in one or more of the following project types is strongly preferred:

K-12 Education
Healthcare
Large Commercial Construction
Responsibilities
Lead all daily field operations on assigned projects
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel
Develop and maintain project schedules
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
Conduct quality control inspections throughout construction
Work closely with Project Managers, Owners, Architects, and Engineers
Manage project documentation including daily reports and progress updates
Coordinate inspections, punch lists, and project turnover
Foster a positive, team-oriented jobsite culture
Qualifications
8+ years of Superintendent experience with a commercial general contractor
Proven success managing $20M–$80M ground-up commercial projects
Experience in K-12, Healthcare, or large commercial construction preferred
Strong scheduling and subcontractor management skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
OSHA certification preferred
Willingness to travel when project needs require
