Service Technician
The Depot Repair Technician II is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electronic equipment at a designated repair facility. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and testing equipment to ensure proper functionality. The Depot Repair Technician I may also be responsible for documenting repair processes, maintaining repair records, and communicating with customers regarding repair status. This position typically requires a strong technical background and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Document incoming and outgoing machines using software applications such as Oracle, Tulip and Microsoft Office.
- Inspect incoming machines for necessary repairs, upgrades, or damage.
- Repair machines by replacing or repairing circuit boards, mechanical sub-assemblies, and discrete components.
- Refurbish machines by replacing worn components and cleaning exterior covers.
- Perform final testing of repaired or refurbished machines.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts.
- Meet key performance indicators, goals, and objectives.
- Support the department's Operational Excellence journey by finding new and effective ways of working, deploying lean initiatives, and supporting related Continuous Improvement projects.
- Comply with all ISO 14001 requirements.
- Comply with internal environmental management system requirements, as applicable.
- Accepts overtime and weekend work as necessary.
- The working hours are Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts with flexible starting time from 5am-11am.
Must Haves:
- Electronics degree
- Experience in repairing the device that related to industry
- 6+ months of experience repairing
Nice to Haves:
- Experience in medical industry
