My client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief of Staff to join a rapidly growing Venture Capital firm. As the Chief of Staff, you will play a critical role in driving the success of the firm by supporting the executive team in strategic decision-making, operational efficiency, and financial management. Responsibilities:

• Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement the firm's strategic vision, business objectives, and growth initiatives.
• Financial Management: Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure the firm's financial health and optimize investment opportunities.
• Investment Analysis: Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including market research, financial analysis, and risk assessment.
• Deal Execution: Support the deal process from start to finish, including negotiation, documentation, and portfolio management, ensuring seamless execution and maximizing returns.
• Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with portfolio company executives, industry experts, and strategic partners to drive collaboration and value creation.
• Leadership Support: Assist the executive team with managing priorities, preparing presentations, and facilitating effective communication across the organization.
• Operational Efficiency: Identify areas for operational improvement and implement streamlined processes to enhance productivity and scalability.
• Industry Expertise: Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and emerging markets within the venture capital ecosystem, sharing insights and driving innovative approaches.

Requirements:

• Financial Background: A solid understanding of financial concepts and analysis, with experience in financial planning, budgeting, and investment management.
• Series 7 or Series 65: Possess a valid Series 7 or Series 65 license, demonstrating knowledge of securities regulations and compliance.
• Venture Capital Experience: Previous experience working in a venture capital firm or in a related field, with a proven track record of successful investments and deal execution.
• Leadership Experience: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive results, inspire a high-performance culture, and mentor junior team members.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to evaluate investment opportunities and assess market trends effectively.

Position is located near the Houston Galleria area and candidate will be expected to come to the office, as well as travel domestically and internationally when necessary.
