Accounting Manager

About The Role The Accounting Manager owns the financial reporting and internal control environment, ensuring rigorous compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and SEC frameworks. The role directs month-end close procedures, oversees technical accounting research, and partners with cross-functional leadership to scale financial operations. Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes ensuring adherence to strict reporting deadlines Oversee SOX compliance, designing, testing, and maintaining internal controls over financial reporting Prepare SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q) and technical accounting memos for complex transactions under US GAAP Collaborate with external auditors during annual financial audits and quarterly reviews Automate and optimize accounting workflows and ERP configurations (NetSuite) to reduce manual reporting cycles Mentor and develop accounting staff while driving continuous process improvements across the finance team What We Are Looking For 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience combining Big 4 public accounting and high-growth corporate tech environments Active CPA license and deep, demonstrated expertise in US GAAP, SOX compliance, and SEC reporting standards Advanced proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite) and automated financial reporting tools Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills with a track record of cross-functional leadership Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Bonus: Experience with IPO readiness, M&A integration, and data analytics tools like SQL or Tableau #J-18808-Ljbffr
