Details Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital environment 8-week assignment on night shift (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM) Every other weekend required One 12-hour call shift per schedule required Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed Requirements Active GA or Compact RN license required Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP required; AWHONN Intermediate preferred Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required Experience with Labor and Delivery management and circulating for C-sections required First-time travelers are welcome to apply Additional Information Provide comprehensive nursing care within the Labor and Delivery unit Local candidates accepted at the same rate Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, which must be finalized at time of submission No RTO can be requested during orientation week or after offer/onsite Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays falling within the assignment period (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day) If one or two major holidays fall during the assignment, no holiday RTO can be requested If three major holidays fall during the assignment, one holiday RTO request may be considered Full compliance required to start on time, as delays may result in a two-week push back due to biweekly orientation scheduling Previous Piedmont employees (Perm/Per Diem/FCSS) must be away from all Piedmont facilities for one full year before applying as a traveler American Traveler Job ID P-742614.
