Details Labor & Delivery unit setting Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00-07:00 8-week assignment length Every other weekend required On-call requirement of one 12-hour shift per schedule Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed Requirements Active GA or Compact RN license required at time of consideration Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP AWHONN Intermediate certification preferred Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required Skilled in Labor and Delivery management and circulating for C-sections Copies of required certifications needed for consideration Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred Additional Information Provide comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care including circulating for C-sections Candidates will undergo a clinical screening to determine fit before manager review Full compliance required to start on time; non-compliance results in a 2-week delay due to biweekly orientation schedule Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, must be finalized at time of submission No RTO requests permitted during orientation week or after offer/onsite Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays falling within assignment period (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day) First-time travelers are welcome to apply Previous Piedmont employees (Perm/Per Diem/FCSS) must be away from all Piedmont facilities for one full year before returning as a traveler Travelers who cancel or receive a facility DNR must complete one assignment outside Piedmont before reapplying American Traveler Job ID P-740456.
