We're continually seeking to expand our team with individuals who have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to creating memorable experiences for our guests.Join us at Flying Horse Resort and Club, your success starts now.ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:Provides and ensures all guests with a successful experience during their stay while maintaining the integrity of the Lodge and the resort.Greets and registers guests in a confident, professional and friendly manner; assessing needsPerform cashier functions to include but not limited to: post of charges, make change, balance cashier drawers at end of shift, etc.Present statements to and collect payments from departing guestsAnswer phone calls promptly, ensuring complete and accurate informationCompletes all items listed on the Front Desk checklist for the appropriate shiftFollows established key control policyEnsures proper credit policies are followedCoordinate with Housekeeping to make sure rooms are clean and ready for guest arrivalsMaintain Front Desk suppliesRespond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or managerMake, confirm and cancel reservations for guestsMaintain open lines of communication with all employees within all departmentsProvide solutions to problems for guests, associates and managementAssist with Group blocks and rooming listsAssist in training new staff membersAbility to lift, bend, twist, stand and walk for long periods of timeQUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or equivalent.Previous hotel experience – preferably prior Front Desk Agent experience.Excellent communication skills.Ability to accomplish necessary tasks on the computer.Schedule flexibility.ADDITIONAL NOTES:This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications associated with the job. #J-18808-Ljbffr Flying-Horse-Resort-
