Facility Security Officer

Facility Security Officer Coordinate and monitor highly sensitive aspects of the DoD or other industrial security programs and security activities. Ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures. Conduct highly sensitive security briefings. Coordinate all security education programs. Act as primary liaison with upper management and outside agencies. Responsibilities Coordinate and monitor highly sensitive aspects of DoD and industrial security programs. Act as primary liaison with upper management and outside agencies. Qualifications 3+ years of experience managing security requirements for sensitive security programs, including the DoD. Experience managing COMSEC and DoD Open Storage Areas. Knowledge of DoD security systems or databases, including DISS. Knowledge of Title 32 of the Code of Federal Regulations (32 CFR), National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directive (ICD), and DoD security requirements. Top Secret clearance. High school diploma or GED. Nice to have: experience with Microsoft Office, strong attention to detail, flexibility, excellent judgment, decision‑making, teamwork, customer service, verbal and written communication skills. Possession of a Bachelor’s degree. Completion of the DCSA or CDSE Facility Security Officer (FSO) Program Management for Possessing Facilities Course. Requirements and Certifications Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Top Secret clearance is required. Compensation The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by factors including location, education, skills, and contract requirements.
