Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Emergency Department Nurse

Schedule: Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Block scheduling is not guaranteed)

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:

• Active NY RN License
• 2+ years of experience in Emergency Department (with some Pediatric experience)
• Travel experience required
• Up-to-date certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (TNCC must be in hand)
• EMR Experience: EPIC
• Skills Checklist matching specialty
• Driver's license with an address matching demographics
• NURSYS Report Licenses verification with active licenses

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assess and manage patients in the Emergency Department, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide quality patient care.
• Perform emergency interventions for critical conditions such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, and respiratory failure.
• Utilize specialty equipment like Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility policies and procedures.
• Float to various areas as required by the department.

• RTO must be included at the time of submission.
