In this role, you will demonstrate your expertise in a variety of accounting practices, including accounts payable, reconciling the general ledger, and conducting audits. What You’ll Be Doing: Clerical Tasks: Filing, copying and scanning documents Keeping files and records up to date Preparing correspondence, reports, and forms Verifying and processing documents Performing data entry with accuracy Greet customers Accountant I Duties: Interact with customers on the phone and by email Process accounts payable invoices for approval and payment Generate billing statements and reports Process monthly perm storage invoices and billing Review and reconcile the general ledger accounts Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations and renewals Weekly bank deposits and daily credit card payments processed Cash entries verified and entered into Movers Suite and Great Plains Tracking and filing of all fleet vehicle registration renewals Process all claims and coordinate communications with customers Daily cash report updated and reconciled Additional Responsibilities: Assist in keeping the office clean, organized, and well-functioning Pitching in with other team members or departments as needed Helping with miscellaneous projects or tasks as assigned What We’re Looking For: 2 years of experience in an accounting role Strong organization skills and attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality Strong work ethics and attendance Friendly, helpful, and professional communication style Experience using Microsoft Office A team player who’s always willing to help out What You’ll Get: We believe in taking care of our team.
