Property Accountant
Location: Palm Beach, FL
Schedule: Fully Onsite

Pay Rate: $25-$35/hr DOE
We are seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant to join a professional and fast-paced organization in Palm Beach, FL. This temporary opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional with experience supporting commercial, residential, or property management portfolios and handling full-cycle accounting responsibilities.
Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain monthly financial statements for assigned properties
  
• Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations
  
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  
• Review and post journal entries accurately and timely
  
• Analyze variances and research discrepancies
  
• Reconcile CAM, tenant charges, and other property-related transactions as applicable
  
• Process accounts payable invoices and ensure accurate coding
  
• Assist with accounts receivable, rent rolls, and cash receipt postings
  
• Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for audits
  
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies
  
• Collaborate with property managers and corporate accounting teams regarding financial reporting and budget tracking
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  
• 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally within property management, real estate, commercial real estate, or related industries
  
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close
  
• Experience with reconciliations, financial reporting, and journal entries
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis functions
  
• Experience with property management or accounting software preferred
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  
• Ability to work independently in a fully onsite environment
  

Pay Details: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour
