About the RoleAs a Vendor Business Manager (VBM), you will play a critical role in driving the financial performance, strategy, and growth of assigned vendor partnerships. This is a high-impact, cross-functional position where you will own key aspects of vendor success—including P&L performance, forecasting, inventory optimization, and relationship management.In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to both internal teams and vendor partners, using data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities, improve profitability, and influence strategic decisions. If you enjoy working at the intersection of analytics, business development, and relationship management—and want to grow your career within a global technology leader—this is your opportunity.What You’ll DoVendor Strategy & Relationship ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for assigned vendor partners, building strong, long-term relationships across multiple levels—including leadership and executive stakeholdersAlign vendor objectives with TD SYNNEX business priorities to drive mutual growth and market successLead regular business reviews and deliver presentations on product performance, profitability, and promotional outcomesFinancial Performance & ProfitabilityOwn and monitor vendor line P&L, including revenue, gross margin, and overall profitabilityIdentify opportunities to improve performance through pricing strategies, cost optimization, and revenue growth initiativesDevelop and execute incremental funding proposals to maximize vendor investment and returnsForecasting & Inventory OptimizationBuild accurate forecasts for vendor products and analyze trends to support demand planning and sales growthPartner with procurement and supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels, reduce carrying costs, and improve product availabilityContinuously assess inventory health and recommend actions to mitigate risk and capitalize on demandMarket Insights & Growth OpportunitiesAnalyze market data, customer trends, and competitive insights to uncover new business opportunitiesTranslate data into actionable recommendations that drive strategic decision-making and go-to-market executionStay informed on industry trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edgeCross-Functional Collaboration & ExecutionCollaborate closely with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to support revenue growth and customer acquisitionAct as the operational escalation point for vendor lines, proactively identifying and resolving issuesPartner with internal teams and vendors to ensure efficient execution of programs, promotions, and initiativesWhat We’re Looking ForExperience: 3–5 years of experience in product management, vendor management, business development, sales, or marketing (technology or microcomputer industry preferred)Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experienceStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, market trends, and performance metricsProven ability to manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadershipExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and drive alignmentStrong negotiation and persuasive selling skillsDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentComfortable working with data, forecasting tools, and business systemsAdaptable, proactive, and able to thrive under pressure and tight deadlinesCommitment to collaboration and working effectively across diverse teams and perspectivesWhy Join TD SYNNEX?At TD SYNNEX, we’re shaping the future of the global IT ecosystem—connecting partners, vendors, and customers through innovative solutions and unmatched market expertise.
