RN - Medical/Surgical Nurse Opportunity in Baton Rouge, LA | Night Shift

Licensure: Current RN license in Louisiana

Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience in medical/surgical settings

Certifications: BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)

Pay Rate: $54.31/hour

What You'll Do

Provide high-quality patient care using the nursing process
Assess patient needs and plan individualized care strategies
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Delegate tasks efficiently and supervise nursing staff
Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies
Educate patients and families regarding health management and treatments
Promote a positive, culturally sensitive, and respectful environment

What You Need

Required:

Active Louisiana RN license
Minimum 2 years of medical/surgical nursing experience
BLS certification from AHA
Proficiency with healthcare software and technologies
Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred:

Additional certifications in clinical specialty areas
Experience working in fast-paced hospital settings
