Domestic Tax Manager

Responsibilities

Kforce's client, a global manufacturing company in Chelmsford, MA, is seeking a Manager of Domestic Tax to join their company. This client offers competitive salary and excellent benefits - 3 days day in office, 2 days working from home. Duties:

• Ensure timely filing of federal, state tax returns
• Review and approve tax returns prepared by team
• Develop and implement tax strategies
• Stay updated on tax regulations and changes
• Conduct research on complex tax issued and provide recommendations to senior management
• Collaborate with tax advisors and domestic controller
• Preparation of the quarterly and year-end uncertain tax position (Fin 48) calculations
• Manage tax audits and communicate with tax authorities

Skills

• Accounting or Finance degree; CPA and MST preferred
• 7+ years of total tax experience in a large corporate tax environment, which may be in industry, Big 4, or combination
• Strong tax knowledge, ASC740
• Understanding federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations, including compliance and planning strategies
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in conducting through tax research and keeping up wit changes in tax legislation
• Strong problem-solving to address tax-related issued
• Excellent technology skills, OneSource Tax Provision is a plus
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines with accurate results

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
