• Create individualized treatment strategies targeting both immediate objectives and long-lasting communication, cognitive, or swallowing enhancements.
• Deliver focused speech therapy sessions dedicated to language, fluency, voice, and swallowing competencies.
• Engage collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, family members, and caregivers to ensure a comprehensive care approach.
• Educate patients and families to bolster therapeutic progress between sessions.
• Provide occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions in alignment with continuous care practices.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with all relevant guidelines and standards.
• Engage in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with advancements in the discipline.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory within the first month of employment.
