Field Service Technician I - West Palm Beach, FL Area (Company Vehicle & 4-Day Workweeks!)

Overview Field Service Technician – West Palm Beach, FLWorking at Hach (a Veralto company) means contributing to global water quality through on‑site equipment support for municipal and industrial customers. You will travel extensively, deliver preventative maintenance, repair, and calibration services, and act as the primary technical contact for customers. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of Hach instrumentation at customer sites. Deliver high‑quality customer service and serve as the on‑site contact for technical and service‑related problems. Document service activities accurately in reports that affect billing, inventory, and instrument history. Maintain safe work practices and follow company safety policies. Manage administrative tasks related to service visits. Travel to customer sites daily, including 50% overnight stays; support expected within a 2‑hour radius and occasional travel to other states or regions lasting up to one week. Qualifications High school diploma required; associate’s or technical degree preferred, or equivalent education/experience. Mechanical aptitude with experience in preventative maintenance and technical diagnostics/repair. Minimum 2years of field service or customer‑facing experience preferred. Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to rent vehicles and book hotel rooms under state law.
