Field Service Technician I (entry level) - West Palm Beach, FL

Job Title Field Service Technician I – West Palm Beach, FL Compensation Hourly Rate: $14.00 plus an additional $6.00 per activity completed. Responsibilities Represent the NCR Atleos brand and act as the first line of support on customer sites. Problem‑solve at a basic module level (FRU) and determine when and to whom to escalated issues. Apply training knowledge to resolve task‑related problems in straightforward situations emphasizing manual skills. Maintain consistent communication through the service app to ensure customer satisfaction. Follow all safety and security procedures when working on ATMs. Complete NCR Atleos specific trainings and certifications on the training website. Diagnose problems using ATM error logs and information from the service app with a company‑provided Android cell phone. Perform minor maintenance and repairs on ATMs, both indoors and outdoors. Accurately report updates, call closure details, and parts inventory. Record hours worked and miles driven daily. Basic Qualifications Reside in the specified geographic area. High School Diploma or equivalent. Authorized to work in the United States. Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company requirements. Reliable transportation for work purposes. Familiarity with and ability to operate an Android cell phone (company provided). Physical ability to travel, lift up to 50lbs, bend, squat, walk, stand, and manipulate tools and parts. Proof of minimum insurance coverage: Bodily Injury Liability ($100,000 per person, $300,000 per accident) and Property Damage Liability ($100,000 per accident). Required Availability, Experience, and Skillset Dispatchable on a call‑by‑call basis or with a daily schedule. Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, overtime, and flex shifts. Ability to work safely outside in all weather conditions. High personal integrity and ability to work with minimal supervision. Basic electrical and mechanical aptitude, skillset, and knowledge. Strong problem‑solving skills, quick learner, and ability to work under pressure. Preferred Qualifications Associate degree (preferred). Previous experience with NCR or similar equipment (preferred).
