Inova Mount Vernon Hospital - Wound Care is looking for a dedicated Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team. This role will be full time days position with 9-hour days; 4 days a week. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Responsibilities: Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. Reviews diagnostic test results and reports abnormal results and changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse, physician and appropriate healthcare team members in a timely manner. Collaborates with the Registered Nurse on the execution of patient plans. Assists with patient education and discharge planning under the direction of the Registered Nurse. Evaluates and maintains the patient care environment to promote safety. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Vocational / Technical Diploma in Practical Nursing License: Licensed Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia Experience : 0 years of experience Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.
