Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Detroit, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and routine rounds. Position Details Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.35 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or access concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help support authorized access, visitor screening practices, and orderly movement throughout the location. Assist with de‑escalation efforts, provide directions and general assistance, and help support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Minimum Requirements Be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
