Nerdy is looking for a Senior Manager of Paid Social Marketing to join our team. As a Senior Manager of Paid Social Marketing, you will own paid social acquisition for our consumer business end-to-end — strategy, media buying, creative, landing pages, and optimization. This is a high-leverage individual contributor role with no direct reports and full accountability. You'll direct an 8-figure annual budget as if it were your own capital, using AI-native tools to build, test, and scale campaigns and creative at a speed no traditional team can match.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years of hands-on paid acquisition experience , including direct ownership of >$5MM in annual paid social spend. This is non-negotiable: you have personally run acquisition advertising with revenue accountability — not brand, not organic social, not lifecycle.
• Deep Meta expertise with demonstrated command of Advantage+, Advantage+ Shopping Campaigns, broad targeting strategy, creative testing frameworks, CAPI/server-side tracking, and post-ATT measurement. Proven scale on TikTok, Reddit, Snap, Pinterest, or YouTube in addition to Meta.
• Consumer (B2C) marketing at scale. You've acquired individual consumers with real purchase intent — subscription, marketplace, e-commerce, or DTC.
• AI-native marketer: daily, fluent use of generative AI across the full workflow — static and video creative generation, ad copy at variant scale, landing page and CRO builds, audience and insight analysis, bid and budget optimization scripts, and workflow automation. You can point to real campaigns, creative, or pages you've built primarily through AI-assisted workflows, not just AI-assisted brainstorming.
• Working proficiency with AI-native builder tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Vercel, Netlify, Supabase) to independently ship landing pages, automations, and reporting tools without waiting on engineering.
• Creative fluency at volume. You have opinions about hooks, formats, and UGC, and you can produce and iterate creative yourself rather than routing it to a studio.
• Strong quantitative fluency: comfortable in Excel/Sheets and basic SQL, building your own incrementality, attribution, LTV, and CAC/ROAS models rather than waiting on BI.
• Deep understanding of conversion rate optimization. You can independently hypothesize, build, test, and ship landing page variants.
• Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, and BI on tracking, tagging, attribution, and API/data integrations.
• Highly organized self-starter who thrives without a team beneath them. You scale through leverage (AI, automation, tooling) rather than headcount.

Responsibilities:

• Own paid social strategy and execution end-to-end across Meta and emerging social channels.
• Personally build and iterate ad creative, copy, and landing pages using AI-native tools, cutting the traditional handoff cycle between strategy, creative, and dev out of the workflow entirely.
• Run high-velocity creative testing: generate, launch, read, and kill concepts at a cadence that keeps pace with algorithmic fatigue, and systematize what wins.
• Run continuous CRO experimentation on landing pages and funnels: hypothesize, build, A/B test, and ship winning variants independently.
• Build and maintain your own performance dashboards; track CAC, ROAS, LTV, and channel-level efficiency, and act on insights same-day rather than waiting on reporting cycles.
• Own measurement integrity in a post-ATT environment: CAPI and server-side implementation, incrementality and geo-lift testing, and honest reads on what spend is actually driving.
• Design and deploy automations for bid management, creative QA, reporting, and campaign operations to scale output without adding headcount.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and BI on tracking, tagging, and API integrations needed for personalization, attribution, and automation.
• Manage channel budgets with founder-level ownership and treat spend efficiency and incrementality as if it were your own capital.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new AI tools, ad products, and channels to keep Nerdy's paid social motion at the frontier of what's technically possible.
• Report on performance, experiments, and roadmap directly to leadership.
