About the Role:
Join TGA & Soccer Stars of Conejo Valley as a Youth Sports Coach and inspire the next generation of athletes! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about sports and dedicated to fostering a positive and fun learning environment for children in Thousand Oaks, CA. We are looking for coaches with experience in any of the following: Cheerleading, Flag Football, Golf, Lacrosse, Pickleball, Soccer, Tennis or Volleyball , and have a passion for working with kids.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging sports coaching sessions for youth athletes.
- Develop age-appropriate training programs that enhance skills and teamwork.
- Provide constructive feedback to help players improve their performance.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all participants.
- Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of all athletes during activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance coaching skills.
- Promote sportsmanship and a love for the game among players.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in coaching youth sports or related activities.
- Strong knowledge of any of the sports listed above is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire children of various skill levels.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude.
- Background check clearance is required for all candidates.
- Passion for sports and youth development is essential.
