Warehouse/Office Supervisor

Job Summary Direct, develop, and manage warehouse & receiving activities for incoming raw materials and oversee the work assignments of receiving clerks, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines. Responsibilities Champion and participate in all company safety and continuous improvement programs. Direct daily activities of inventory and shipping clerks, ensuring inbound receipts are processed correctly, outbound orders are printed with labels, driver check‑in is managed, and cycle counts are performed consistently. Schedule inbound and outbound appointments. Organize and manage monthly inventory cycle counts and annual physical inventory. Manage mock recall and recall processes. Provide the management team with daily and monthly data related to shipping/receiving, containers, extra labor, shortages, and carrier performance. Interface with transportation 3PL to coordinate late and missed appointments, ensuring pickups are made promptly. Qualifications Required: Effective communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities. Ability to supervise and lead others. Ability to read, learn, understand, and consistently apply all policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Initiative to ensure the shipping, warehouse, and receiving departments run efficiently. Basic proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications, preferably Microsoft Office (Word/Excel). Preferred: High School diploma or equivalent. Five years of experience in shipping/receiving and at least two years of supervisory experience. Comparable level of education and/or experience is acceptable. Environment Work in a warehouse setting utilizing equipment such as computer, printer, copier, and telephone. Requires walking 40%, standing 10%, and sitting 50%, as well as full range of body motion (twisting, bending, squatting, reaching at/above/below shoulders).
