Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current and valid OT licensure for the state required
• Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
• Proficient in designing and implementing individualized therapy plans
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, parents, and administrators
• Knowledge of IEP process and documentation best practices
• Commitment to fostering inclusion and optimizing student participation

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ functional abilities and needs
• Develop and execute targeted intervention plans in alignment with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across various grade levels
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of progress and therapy outcomes
• Educate staff and families regarding strategies to help students maximize independence within the classroom and school routines
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary problem-solving
• Stay current with best practices and continuing education relevant to school-based therapy
