Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients from pediatric to geriatric demographics through a combination of standardized assessments and observational strategies.
• Design individualized treatment plans focused on the immediate and ongoing needs related to communication, cognition, or swallowing.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions that target language, fluency, voice, and swallowing needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, nurses, and physicians, to craft integrated care approaches.
• Provide education to patients and families, promoting engagement and progress beyond the clinical environment.
• Participate in inpatient evaluations and ensure seamless continuity of care across treatment stages.
• Document treatment details accurately and promptly, adhering to regulatory requirements and facility policies.
• Pursue ongoing education and collaboration with peers to continuously enhance your practice.

Education

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized university.
• Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

Certifications

• Active state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment.
