As a dietary aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by assisting with meal preparation, food service, and maintaining a clean and safe dining environment. Responsibilities Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients Set up and maintain a clean and efficient dining environment, including tables, chairs, and serving areas Assist with serving meals, including carrying trays, serving food, and replenishing utensils and supplies Maintain accurate records of food inventory, waste, and leftovers Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment Collaborate with dietary staff to prepare special diets and meals for residents with specific needs Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure exceptional service and care Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect residents’ rights Work Environment Work as part of a dedicated and compassionate team in a healthcare setting Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents Free parking and a relaxed, supportive work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
