Corporate Support Assistant

7+ Month Contract - Possible Temp To Perm Pay rate: 20 - 23/hr, W 2 (Contract rate) Goal is to convert--expected salary in the 40-45k range plus benefits and can then go hybrid 9-5 CST ideally, can do 7-4PST if in a West Coast Location, will also consider 9-6 EST if in an East Coast Office Contract will be 100% onsite in any of the following locations:

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to and collaborate with other corporate team members or across departments.
• Respond and resolve incoming vendor requests, queries, issues, and concerns via phone and email.
• Efficiently manage the order process alongside other corporate team members, from initial request through processing, and during follow-up investigations and order fulfillment.
• Obtain certificates of status with both the state and revenue departments, conduct name availability and status searches, produce verbal bring-down reports, file/track name reservations and registrations, and obtain copies of miscellaneous public record documents.
• Responsible for corporate filings including the preparation, review, and filing of articles of incorporation/organization, amendments, DBA/assumed business names, newspaper publications, and annual reports.
• Assist with answering phone calls and routing to the appropriate department.
• Perform any other duties of similar or lesser nature as required.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer and software proficiency. Intermediate level skills with MS Office; Word, Excel, and Outlook are required.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor's degree and/or minimum 1 year experience in corporate services/registered agent industry.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accept directions well.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, be self-directed, manage your time wisely, and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Positive team player with clear and effective verbal and written communication skills with colleagues and clients.
• Ensure superior customer service is always provided and maintain a high level of professionalism.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment whether remote, hybrid, or in office.
• Knowledge of general corporate services and/or willingness to learn.
