Business Development Manager

I'm partnering with a highly respected mid-sized law firm seeking a Business Development Manager to play a key role in driving attorney and firm growth. They are building out a BD team and this is the first addition! *PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A SALES ROLE* This is not a traditional marketing or internal training position. The firm is looking for someone who can function as a strategic business development advisor and coach to attorneys , helping them identify opportunities, strengthen relationships, prepare for critical business development interactions, and ultimately convert connections into new client work. The right person will become deeply embedded in attorney practices and serve as a trusted growth partner. Equally important, this role requires someone who is highly visible and active in the market . You'll build and maintain relationships throughout the business community, facilitate introductions, identify referral and networking opportunities, and help attorneys expand their networks and influence. The successful candidate will be both strategic and hands-on, balancing coaching, planning, and accountability with meaningful external engagement. Ideal candidates will bring: 7+ years of business development, relationship management, or growth strategy experience Experience supporting professionals in a law firm or other professional services environment Strong relationship-building and networking capabilities Ability to develop growth plans, uncover opportunities, and influence stakeholders A proactive approach to connecting people, generating opportunities, and driving measurable results This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys operating as both a trusted advisor internally and a connector externally, helping attorneys grow their practices while elevating the firm's market presence. #J-18808-Ljbffr
