Maintenance Technician - 3rd ShiftLocation: MemphisShift: Training on 1st Shift (Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM), then transition to 3rd Shift (Monday-Friday, 11:00 PM-7:00 AM)Pay: Competitive, based on experienceJob OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in the South Memphis area. This position is ideal for a mechanically inclined professional with industrial maintenance experience who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment.Successful candidates will train on 1st shift for approximately one month (potentially sooner based on performance) before moving permanently to 3rd shift.ResponsibilitiesInstall and maintain production lines, motors, AC inverters, drives, and related equipment.Build, wire, and troubleshoot electrical control panels.Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment issues.Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery.Disassemble, repair, and reassemble production equipment and components.Rebuild and maintain industrial valves and associated systems.Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.Repair gearboxes, motors, controls, and production equipment as needed.Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.Support production operations by responding to equipment breakdowns and minimizing downtime.Utilize a variety of maintenance skills, including welding and fabrication when necessary.QualificationsRequiredMinimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.Experience working with: HydraulicsPneumaticsMotors and controlsGearboxesElectrical circuitsAbility to disassemble, repair, and rebuild industrial equipment.Strong commitment to safety and quality.PreferredExperience in a high-speed packaging or manufacturing environment.PLC troubleshooting and maintenance knowledge.Electrical maintenance experience.Welding and fabrication skills.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
