Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), every other weekend required; 4x12-hour schedules may be available upon request

Highlights:

• 29-bed non-aggregated ICU specializing in Medical, Surgical, Coronary Care, Neuro, and Trauma patients with average daily census of 26
• ICU patient ratio of 1:2; may be 1:3 during bed transitions or 1:4 when floating to IMC
• Level II trauma center with teaching hospital environment; Level I trauma experience preferred
• Cerner charting system in use
• Float opportunities within critical care areas including IMC based on competency and facility needs
• Contract length up to 365 days with comprehensive orientation and interdisciplinary support

Requirements:

• Active Maryland or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Critical Care experience required; 3 years preferred
• Level II trauma experience required; Level I trauma experience preferred
• Neuro ICU and Surgical ICU experience required
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required
• ATCAR or equivalent trauma education required (facility-approved trauma course available to meet requirement)
• Passing score on Prophecy Relias Advanced EKG assessment required before contract start
• Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and management, multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, and cardiac/vasoactive drip titration required
• Specialized equipment experience required: IABP, CRRT, EVD, Arctic Sun/cooling blanket management
• First-time travelers and local candidates accepted
