This well-established hospital serves as a cornerstone of healthcare in the Northern California coastal region, providing comprehensive women's health and obstetric services to the surrounding community. The facility is a Level 3 trauma center with strong institutional support and is seeking to expand its team of skilled OB/GYN providers on a permanent basis.


Opportunity:
Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology


Job Details:

• Permanent placement opportunity providing comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services with approximately 30 patient encounters per shift
• Manage both low and high risk pregnancies with full delivery services
• Perform routine deliveries including vaginal and low forceps deliveries
• Decision-making for cesarean sections with preferred experience in complicated deliveries including C-sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs
• Conduct FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
• Perform OB ultrasounds including Level I/Screening and Level II/Targeted anatomic assessments
• Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations required
• Provide office and minor gynecology services including IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, and related procedures
• Perform surgical gynecology including open and laparoscopic procedures, as well as operative/major procedures such as ectopic pregnancy management, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA's
• Board certification required with ACLS and BLS certifications
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days
• Start date as soon as possible with an ongoing commitment
