Maintenance Mechanic
Our client, a well-known American cosmetics company, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team! The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment and machinery in the Production areas.
Location: Blaine, MN 55449. Pay Range: $25-$30hr 1st shift | Mon-Fri | 7am-3:30pm

What's the Job?
- Troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance (PM) on plant equipment and machinery.
- Work directly with employees to develop efficient, effective setups, changeovers and operation of equipment.
- Assist line personnel in troubleshooting mechanical issues.
- Maintains, installs, operates, sets up, and tests all types of plant equipment.
- Utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times and understand the concept and follow LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures.
What's Needed?
- Strong English ability – understanding, reading, writing and speaking
- Experience with automation applications in an industrial manufacturing setting.
- High School Diploma or its equivalent; and an associate degree in a related maintenance field
- Ability to stand and walk majority of an 8-hour shift
- Ability to perform physical movements (push and pull 40-pounds)
