Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Processor
- Review, process, and record fixed asset activity related to existing restaurant locations, remodels, and capital improvement projects as the Accounting Processor
- Apply capitalization policies by reviewing invoices, construction documents, and project expenditures as the Accounting Processor
- Process asset retirements, maintain fixed asset records, and ensure accurate accounting treatment as the Accounting Processor
- Review repair and maintenance expenses to identify capitalization opportunities and support monthly financial reporting as the Accounting Processor
- Prepare depreciation accruals, journal entries, supporting schedules, and documentation while assisting with special projects as the Accounting Processor
Qualifications for the Accounting Processor
- 1+ years of accounting experience
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
- Strong Excel skills with knowledge of accounting principles, journal entries, and ERP systems such as Oracle or similar platforms
