Location: New Baltimore, MI (On-site)
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer

Anchor Bay Powder Coat is a growing advanced surface coating and finishing company serving aerospace, defense, power generation, and industrial markets. We are ISO 9001 and AS9100 certified and focused on scaling while maintaining high quality and fast lead times.

Role Overview
This is a high-impact finance role with sole ownership of our financial systems and processes. You'll report directly to the CEO, manage reporting, cash, and profitability analysis and build digitalized systems (QuickBooks Online + AI Tools) that will support the next stage of growth.
You'll spend time both in analysis and on the manufacturing floor, turning data into decisions that actually move the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Own monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages for senior leadership and capital partners, translating results into clear insights and recommendations.
- Manage cash, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and day-to-day accounting.
- Own and improve our financial systems and processes (QuickBooks Online, Excel, and AI tools) with the goal of eliminating manual/ paperwork
- Analyze product/ service profitability and pricing; recommend changes that improves margins.
- Manage the company credit card program and expense processes.
- Partner with operations and the shop floor to understand the business and help improve lead times.
- Maintain high standards of integrity and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or accounting (manufacturing experience preferred but not required)
- Strong Excel skills and experience with QuickBooks Online
- Comfortable using AI tools to speed up analysis and reporting
- Ability to turn data into clear recommendations for leadership
- Good communicator who can work with both the CEO and people on the shop floor
- Currently living within commuting distance of New Baltimore, MI
- Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience considered
