Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients, taking into account their specific goals, challenges, and treatment history.

• Facilitate engaging and therapeutic counseling sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other relevant approaches.

• Provide ongoing support, feedback, and encouragement to clients as they navigate emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care providers, to create comprehensive care strategies that address all aspects of a client’s well-being.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all records reflect client progress and treatment adjustments.

• Keep current with mental health trends, research, and best practices through continuous professional education and participation in relevant workshops and seminars.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population that includes individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health concerns. Our clients come from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, and you will be expected to demonstrate cultural sensitivity and adaptability in your approach to counseling. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

Compensation and Benefits\n
