Factory Administration Supervisor – Yakult USA (Georgia)

Yakult USA , the world’s leading probiotic drink manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Factory Administration Supervisor to join their new factory in White, Georgia (30184) . This role is critical in supporting daily administrative operations, procurement, payroll, and inventory management while ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Position Summary

The Factory Administration Supervisor oversees administrative functions across the facility, including procurement, purchasing, payroll, and inventory control. This role leads a team of 20+ employees, drives process efficiency, and supports overall plant operations through strong coordination and leadership.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $75,000/year (Exempt)
• Shift Schedule: 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, includes 1-hour unpaid lunch), Monday – Saturday (flexibility required)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 5+ years of supervisory experience managing teams of 20+ employees
• 5+ years of experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of administrative operations, procurement, purchasing, and inventory control
• ADP/payroll experience strongly preferred
• Proven leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• Experience training and developing employees
• Strong multitasking and time management abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings and late nights
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Operational Leadership

• Oversee daily administrative operations, procurement activities, and purchasing management
• Supervise and support a team of 20+ administrative staff
• Develop and implement systems and procedures to improve workflow and efficiency
• Serve as a liaison between the Production Director, Factory Manager, and employees

Inventory & Procurement Management

• Manage ordering and inventory of raw materials, packaging, and factory supplies
• Ensure proper storage, organization, and tracking of all materials
• Conduct monthly physical inventory and maintain audit readiness
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to resolve delivery, invoice, and quality issues

Payroll & Workforce Administration

• Process payroll and manage timesheets for all departments
• Verify attendance records and Leave of Absence requests to ensure labor law compliance
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development support
• Coordinate onboarding and training programs for new hires

Compliance, Safety & Facility Coordination

• Enforce company policies, labor laws, and safety standards
• Investigate workplace incidents and workers’ compensation cases
• Maintain compliance with SQF, HACCP, FDA, and OSHA regulations
• Coordinate facility maintenance and vendor services
• Support third-party audits and regulatory inspections

Additional Duties

• Coordinate factory tours and visitor scheduling
• Review batch ticket entries and closures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Food Safety Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-operational inspections and ensure corrective actions are taken
• Support preventive maintenance scheduling, follow-up, and analysis
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety policies
• Maintain accurate, clear, and compliant documentation and records
• Report food safety concerns such as contamination risks, pest activity, or fraud issues
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure food safety compliance
• Train employees on food safety practices and evaluate effectiveness
• Participate in food safety meetings, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Follow up on corrective actions related to audits, inspections, CCPs, and preventive controls
