Of Counsel Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced attorney for an Of Counsel position in Los Angeles, California. The ideal candidate will have over seven years of experience, particularly in handling high exposure, catastrophic personal injury cases, including products liability and general negligence.
Duties
- Take and defend expert and witness depositions.
- Draft original motions and litigation‑related documents on complex matters.
- Draft discovery requests and responses for various parties.
- Develop client relationships through effective communication.
- Prepare for trial, including motions in limine, exhibit lists, and witness lists.
Requirements
- 7+ years of civil litigation experience preferred.
- Licensed to practice law in California.
- Self‑motivated with high energy and commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Experience in a billable work environment.
- Superior written and oral communication skills with attention to detail.
Education
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
Licensed in California.
Skills
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Proficiency in drafting complex legal documents.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
