Production Operator - Batcher

About The Role Position function: Reporting to the Production Manager. The individual will be responsible to complete all assigned tasks requested as part of the Caldic production teams. Job Details Job Title: Production Operator Location: University Park, IL 60484 Work Arrangement: Onsite Scope The position will be responsible for reviewing inventory levels and customer orders to provide support for production on a day to day basis. The individual will support the business through production planning, scheduling, printing and verifying required documents for the teams to ensure that production is completed as required. The individual will work closely with the production manager and liquid blend team members, scheduler quality, and shipping & receiving department to ensure order requirements are met as set out by Caldic U.S. Key Responsibilities Become familiar with all manufacturing procedures and the creation of dry blended products that relate to inventory allocation, sales and work order processing, and accompanying documentation procedures. Review and monitor inventory to ensure anticipated delivery dates are met. Support blends team members as required. Print all liquid blend work orders as needed. Provide sanitation requirements for blend areas daily based on the production schedule. Locate and utilize “rework” inventory with assistance of the Quality department to manage products effectively. Perform ongoing troubleshooting during blend production and the picking process. Knowledge / Skills & Experiences Minimum completion of high school education. Food industry related working experience is a nice to have. Manufacturing experience is considered an asset. Strong computer skills. Ability to multitask.
