HyggeHus is a high-end residential design/build remodeling company serving the Twin Cities. We specialize in kitchens, bathrooms, additions, whole-home renovations, and custom remodeling projects that require craftsmanship, attention to detail, and outstanding client service.

We are looking for an experienced Estimator / Project Manager who can confidently guide projects from initial estimate through successful completion. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, communicates well with homeowners and subcontractors, and enjoys solving problems before they become issues.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate residential remodeling estimates.
• Review plans, specifications, and scopes of work.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids.
• Develop and manage project budgets.
• Schedule projects and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal crews.
• Monitor project costs and profitability.
• Ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
• Conduct site visits and quality control inspections.
• Work closely with ownership, project coordinator, field staff, and designers to deliver exceptional results.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating and/or managing residential remodeling or custom home construction projects.
• Strong understanding of residential construction methods and materials.
• Ability to prepare detailed construction estimates.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read construction plans and specifications.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Buildertrend and cloud-based software.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI technology
• Knowledge of local building codes and permitting.
• Experience managing multiple residential projects simultaneously.
• Strong negotiation and subcontractor management skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• $65,000–$80,000 annually , depending on experience and qualifications.
