Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Application Security with strong expertise in application security, vulnerability management, and data analysis .

The selected candidate will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing application security vulnerabilities, identifying false positives, and partnering with application development teams to remediate legitimate security findings.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze application security vulnerability findings.
• Investigate vulnerabilities and determine true positives vs. false positives .
• Work directly with Application Development and Engineering teams to remediate confirmed vulnerabilities.
• Track vulnerability remediation progress and follow up with responsible teams.
• Perform data analysis and reporting related to application security findings.
• Prepare and present weekly vulnerability burndown/progress reports .
• Drive remediation efforts with the goal of reducing open vulnerabilities to zero or an acceptable risk level .
• Maintain documentation of findings, remediation status, exceptions, and false-positive determinations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience.
• Strong experience in Application Security / AppSec .
• Experience with application vulnerability management .
• Ability to analyze security findings and validate false positives and true positives .
• Experience working with Application Development teams .
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
• Experience creating vulnerability metrics, dashboards, or burndown reports .
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
